Unfolding Life A Study of Development With Reference to Religious Training Book

Old-school romance featuring a forbidding but (mostly) gentleman hero and a very-very young heroine: she just lost the only family member taking care of her and is now alone with no formal education or working skills and just an old ship as heritage. The wealthy hero saves her and quickly decides to be her “guardian”, unconsciously revealing the sudden/forbidden attraction for the girl.
And so the story develops between friendship and denied love/lust, jealousy/possessiveness on both sides and the coming of age by the heroine.
Very well written- Our h is all but a martyr and recognizes her feelings much before the older hero (as usual); the whole story is well developed with emotional undertones.
