This book is funny, informative, has just the right amount of information and presents it in a delightful way. EVERYONE in the family enjoyed this book, from our 6 year old, to our 40 year old. Even if you're not remotely interested in country music, you should read this book.
There is a full page spread about "how to yodel", another full page spread about how to pick a perfect "country" name for yourself, paper dolls, country words, etc.
J.B.'s favorite line about Bluegrass: "People started to call the way we played 'pickin.' I got so fast tha the only thing you could pick faster than me was your own nose! Maybe."
I'd love to read more books by this author; he presents the perfect amount of information, in an really engaging fashion.
