The educator's guide to AIDS Book

I don't like b.s., beating around the bush, or saying things in fancy ways so as to confuse rather than clarify. For that, this book gets 1 star.

Clarity: this book should have been called: How to help people who don't want your help or How to trick people into letting you change their children even though they don't want you to. This book is The Prince for the would-be rulers of public education.

This book makes me sad. In a free market, no one would have to play "the Game of Thrones" with public education, we could all buy what we want and vote with our wallets. In a culture based on freedom and respect, we would focus on meeting each other's needs rather than trying to control one another. People think that if they could just control everyone else they would be happy... those people really just want connection. It's so sad.

Don't read this book. Read Non-Violent Communication by Marshal Rosenberg instead. Authenticity, clarity, connection--these things will make you (and those people you want so badly to help) a lot happier.
