The German Language in a Changing Europe
Aoun and Li are wonderfully clear writers -- I will always and forever give them props for that. This book is clear, clear, clear, and that's wonderful.
The data in here are also quite amazing; the Lebanese Arabic and Chinese data are incredibly interesting. Aoun and Li definitely do a good job tackling those data, and I love many of their generalizations. I disagree with a lot of the details, but then, I'm not Kayneian. We were bound to disagree.
If you're working on resumption, or if you generally need to be interested in the representation of wh-structures, pick this one up.
