Peter Black C.Ss.R., is an associate professor and Assistant Dean of the College of Theology at Notre Dame University in Perth, Western Australia. He has published articles on moral theology in international theological journals.

We are reading this book as part of the Ministry Formation Program in the Diocese of St. Augustine. While the book seems relatively small, I have to say that it packs a punch! Not a lot of words are wasted, and the stance of the Catholic Church toward moral theology is paid out very well, often with references to the Catechism. I also enjoyed the last four chapters on current issues, especially social and bioethics and the environment.
