A complete P.C. whitewash, literally! This book absurdly denies the cannibalistic proclivities of people such as the Caribs. People who are well documented to have been cannibals and are still quite proud of their cannibalistic heritage. Just visit the island of Dominica and ask the Caries themselves whether or not their ancestors were cannibals. The racism is in the denial or condemnation of cannibalism by the dominant Western (European) culture. A culture which burned people at the stake and, consequently, ruined their victim's tasty meat. The Caribs et al, who built barbecues, were simply better cooks.
