Recipes from the Vineyards of Northern California: Picnics Book

After all the great reviews on her previous books, we wondered how one of our favorite authors, Napa Valley resident Leslie Mansfield, would continue her popular series of Northern California vineyard cookbooks. The series continues with recipes for that great American pastime, Picnics, which offers the very best in alfresco dining. Whites and champagnes (if you can keep them cool), as well as reds, are perfect for picnics. Wineries all over Northern California contributed their most recent recipes. But you don't have to be a nouvelle cuisine chef to try them. Leslie has worked closely with each contributing chef to create dishes that don't require an army of cooks, obscure ingredients, or professional equipment to prepare.
