Although this was a fairly academic text, it was still a helpful deep-dive into some of the more global dimensions of international network + social forum processes in motion at the height of the global justice movement; and although I disagree with some of the political conclusions drawn, reading about the movement history and analysis that directly informs our social movement terrain in 2020 continues to be useful.
