Cobos (librarian, Saddleback College) and Sater (acquisitions librarian, Los Angeles City College have compiled this bibliography in the hopes that it will encourage college libraries and other libraries to expand the usefulness of the Latin American collections to English readers. Selections were made based on reviews in scholarly journals and major book review publications. Works are organized into sections on the humanities, languages and literature, the social sciences, and science and technology. Some 1400 sources published between 1986 and 2000 are cited.
