Author Biography: Tadashi Nakamura began studying karate in 1953 under karate great Masutatsu Oyama. He went on to earn his seventh dan under Oyama and was made chief instructor at the Kyokushinkai Honbu in Tokyo. Nakamura founded the World Seido Karate Organization and established the Seido Juku headquarters in New York in 1976.
