Informal Logic: Possible Worlds and Imagination Book

This informal logic text is designed to foster critical thinking skills. In a rigorous,step-by-step and yet lively fashion the book sets out procedures for identifying,reconstructing and diagramming arguments and for supplying implicit premises and conclusions. Exercises of varying degrees of difficulty accompany each chapter. Most of the exercises consist of arguments for analysis,drawn from a great diversity of sources and selected to appeal to a wide variety of interests. Solutions to many exercises are provided in a special section at the end of the book. Many solutions contain detailed comments on fine points of argument analysis.
