Possibly, if I had read this one thirty years ago, I would have seen it as profound. But...after 40 years of studying God's Word in-depth daily plus teaching every subject in every grade from PreK-12 plus reading/teaching The Great Books of the Western World, it all seems like verbose statements of the obvious to me. All the way through volume 3, I kept thinking, "And." Although nothing more than common sense written with archaic vocabulary, I'm glad I read, or rather, skimmed it. However, I don't plan to revisit it—onward to volume 4.
