Farewell and fall Book

A very interesting and well written book. The author travels around New Guinea with a local guide and is therefore able to get a greater understanding of the tribal beliefs and perspectives. She writes beautiful dialouges in which she illustrates the nuances of peoples thoughts and feelings. The author does not feel the need to explain why she is there, what drives her, nor does she go into any soul searching, which I would have liked. Overall a worth while read.
