Contemporary Architecture in Germany 1970-1996 50 Buildings
This is reminiscent of Francis Ching's fantastic architecture books; hand written lettering, sketched out drawings and diagrams. Aside from thorough analyses of general architectural forms and types, what I enjoyed most were the analyses of the three cases studies at the end, particularly Alvar Aalto's town hall. I always read through it when I'm stuck with a design problem and need a good refresher course.
