هي ÙÙŠ الأصل مسرØية يونانية تدعى " المدعي" ولكن هنا أضا٠عليها الشاعر ترنتيوس وغير بعض الأبيات لتتناسب مع الØضارة الرومانية ولكن مع اØتÙاظها بأصلها اليوناني
عن رجل متطÙÙ„ يدعى " Ùورميو " يساعد الشاب أنتيÙÙˆ الذي وقع ÙÙŠ Øب Ùتاة يتيمة ولكن Øسب العادات لا ÙŠØÙ‚ لا الزواج إلا من أقرب أقرباءها وهذا ما تدخل Ùيه Ùورميو ليتم الزواج
وعند عودة ديميÙيو وال أنتيÙÙˆ ÙŠÙاجأ بÙعلة ابنه وثيره الغضب Øتى أنه ÙŠÙعل الكثير لتلغى هذه الزيØØ©..
وعلى الصعيد الآخر Ùيديريا الذي عشق Ùتاة بسيطة ولكن يملكها قواد ولا يعطيها له إلا بمبلغ كبير وهنا أيضا يتدخل Ùورميو ÙÙŠ ØÙ„ هذه المعضلة .
ولكن على Øساب الشيخين اللذان كانا يرÙضان زواج ابنيهما.
وتتجلى هنا Øيل Ùورميو وتدخله ولكن مع ذلك لم أجده مخادع أو شرير Ùهو ساعد الشابين بدون مقابل مع أنه خدع الشيخين .
مع أن المسرØية تم اقتباسها من قبل شعراء وأدباء مختلÙين إلا أنها لم تمسني ونÙرت جدا من الشابين وخاصة أنتيÙÙˆ الذي لم يقدر على مواجهة والده وترك عبده هو يتصدى له..!
