Begin in Time Book

The title may make you think that you're dealing with an atheistic view. Quite on the contrary, Vattimo's and De Caputo's essays are concerned with the so-called "postmodern turn of religion", that is, with Christianity during the postmodern times which are thankfully emptied of any metaphysical, violent attitudes. Issues of democracy, individual freedom and terrorism at a global level are also tackled in this amazing volume. I will definitely re-read it, as these essays and interviews are very dense and quite illuminating. Highly recommended to anyone concerned with deconstruction, theology and philosophy. Some minimal knowledge of deconstruction & postmodernist theory may help. However, if you lack such knowledge, do not let this deter you from reading this great book.
