Cupcakes Galore
There are lots of interesting cupcake recipes in this book, everything from Beer and Peanuts to Lemon Merangue to Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp to Tarte Tatin with caramelized apple. This is a cupcake book for the cake recipes. The actual cupcakes shown are not very inspirational. They are mostly flat across the top of the cupcake paper (so look skimpy to me) with very unconventional, even bizarre, icings. The author lives in France so maybe the cupcakes are French style. Nonetheless, she's created some delicious sounding recipes. I haven't tested any of them yet. I love to read cookbooks.
