Nooit geweten dat Aletta Jacobs zoveel heeft betekend voor (Nederlandse) vrouwen en andere minderheden. Met een onvermoeibare drive om waar ze ook kwam van betekenis te zijn, heel inspirerend. Ik werd doodmoe van alleen al het lezen over het tempo waarmee ze verenigingen, politieke partijen en landen aandeed om een verschil te maken. Maar ook echt dankbaar!
