THOUGHTS...
by Joann Alam
2011
Dale Alam's wife, Joann Alam, after Dale's death in 2008, is republishing Dear School. This was first published in 1987, and was very applicable for the times. Joann republishes this because it is still extremely applicable for the times and as Dale said twenty-four years ago.
"The school has the potential to become involved in major social reform, but we do need to get started soon. It will take several generations for the society to think its way out of the abyss created by our obsession with tradition."
From my observations, our country has not been involved with a great deal of success in social reform that meets...the needs of the students, the expectations of the parents and brings the United States up to the level of which it could be Proud.
Please try again and see what needs to be done to make THIS possible.
