University of Nebraska was the school that famous rockstar Tommy Lee enrolled at for the NBC reality show, Tommy Lee Goes to College.

Here's some of the things he should've learned before stepping foot on campus:

There's more to college than a fancy dorm suite.

A recent UNL study found that students who do go to the Rec Center have higher GPAs than students who don't.

Find all the shortcuts, tunnels, and indoor walkways you can because your ears will be less numb in January.

Students attend class in very casual clothes. At night, however, students transform themselves into MTV poster-children and the clothing competition can be fierce.

Tommy Lee decided to join Alpha Gamma Nu, but after the initiation of scrubbing toilets and doing dishes, he decided to start his own fraternity. He established the House of Lee, a bright-red building with a Husker N on the roof.

What did a Husker have to say about Greek life?

"I definitely would recommend the Greek system to anyone because of its many benefits-both academic
and social."

Tommy Lee's Neidhardt Hall dorm room was actually an apartment complex in downtown Lincoln.

What about the rest of the dorms?

Abel/Sandoz is the party-dorm-most dropouts come out of there. And Harper Schramm Smith complex-it is pretty far from campus. Stick with Selleck. The food is prepared the best on campus there."

Tommy Lee tried out and made the Husker band as part of the drumline. After the game, he headed down to O Street and shared afew drinks with his fellow band members.

There's one thing that unites the gym rats with the band geeks, the engineers with the English majors, and the frat brothers with the dormies-a Husker football Saturday. Even the students who don't own season tickets, however, are still Huskers. The school spirit is highly contagious, and when you go to Nebraska, your blood isn't just red-it's Husker red.
