Nightlife:
"There really isn't a lot of partying in dorms, but if you have friends out of the housing system, you're cool. Hot, sweaty apartment parties are usually the place to be on a Friday night if you're underage. 1800 Club, The Keg and other bars are kind of a meat market, and if you have any self respect, you avoid them. Theme parties are big, and whether you're looking for a Polka Party or a throwback to the 1980s, there's usually someone, somewhere who can help you out."

Guys & Girls:
"If you dated a lot in high school, don't think it's going to be the same at college, because it probably won't. There are a lot of great, attractive, well-adapted guys out there, but they are definitely outnumbered by the dorky guys who have no dating experience and are socially inept. For some reason, there seems to be a negative correlationbetween intelligence and level of social development."

Northwestern students don't labor under any illusions that the school is perfect, but despite its shortcomings, most students admit that they wouldn't have had it any other way.
