Baby Einstein: Baby Noah's Touch and Feel Discovery Cards Book

This is a book that my niece picked out and I really appreciate her taste. The story is charming, slightly nostalgic to Bambi and full of brightly colored photographs with animals in all positions that one may see in the forest.

The writing is also very simple and easy to follow so young readers will have no problems with keeping up. Each animal contributes to the story and some with more puns then others while the young fawn keeps standing its ground, his mother's last instructions working as a lullaby even when the fawn starts to doubt.

As mentioned previously the story is illustrated with photographs and so each animal and other character can be found very realistically. Furthermore to avoid keeping the reader from guessing if you look at some of the repetitive characters you will see their position has also changed. When you combine these position changes along with the hidden book you make for a nice interactive read.

All in all this is a charming book and one that can be used to help teach children that if they see a baby in the woods all alone then there may be a reason behind it and that most of the time it is best to leave the baby alone.
