This is a good primer on basic Jujitsu. It contains many different aspects of the fighting art including take downs as well as holds. Let's be honest, if you think you are going to learn to fight from a book, you must have iron discipline to train your body to do what your mind is processing. Get this book, get to a Jujitsu school and use it as a personal reference. You need partners to practice with. Use this as a reference and not your primary teacher. It is an awesome resource if used properly.
