This must have been the first self-help book I've ever read. It seems ages ago, the day I picked it up in the library in the box where readers exchanged books for free. When I read the title, I automatically assumed the book would be "silly," and originally, I wanted to read it so that my forty-year-old, smoking, heavy-drinking alter ego could make fun of it in the newest episode of my TV show (on paper). After a couple of pages I realized the book wasn't silly at all, on the contrary, it was a very interesting read. I must've always been interested in male + female relationships, I just didn't know about it. After all, why would I start writing otherwise...?
