Cuesta creer que un librito tan pequeño, posea tanta brillantez concentrada en sus viejas páginas. Acaso la mejor obra de ensayo y de crÃtica de Vargas Llosa. Un entusiasmo contagiante, producto de su poderosa inteligencia aplicada a la disección de una obra que no leÃ, nunca vi y probablemente nunca lea. Pero eso es lo de menos. A través de sus análisis, Vargas Llosa nos descifra de manera magistral el cómo de una buena novela, el preciso dato que un gran escritor debe tener en consideración para construir a través de su experiencia y su imaginación, historias persuasivas, entretenidas y atrapantes. Hay de todo: humor, romance, erotismo, espiritualidad, valentÃa. Un libro precioso que me encantó.
