This book explores the unique difficulties women must work through In order to effectively engage in proclamation. Styles of delivery, hermeneutic approach, liberation and feminist theology threat often drives the woman's sermon (whether a radical adherent or an unwitting one). The book is helpful by adding to the discussion of the gender bias that is inherent In the church towards female preachers/pastors. By becoming aware and understanding the differences in hermeneutical approach and understanding, and the underlying psychological factors that contribute to a woman's delivery and the reception of the sermon, bias can be lessened and unity better attained.
