Rapunzel/Rapunzel
A fun version of Rapunzel, this book is written in both English and Spanish, both appearing simultaneously to the side of an image (text on the left, English above Spanish, images on the right).
A first glance would lead one to believe that this story is The Brother's Grimm version, but it takes a few liberties including setting the images in a city.
The images are rather similar to Roald Dahl's sketchings, which I thought was fun, and they were simple which allowed the text to shine.
This would be a great book for any developing ELL student, or even an English speaking child who is studying Spanish, as both languages are used throughout.
