Embodied Literacies: Imageword and a Poetics of Teaching (Studies in Writing and Rhetoric) Book

Having just completed an MA in Composition I was somewhat familiar with the themes / authors cited in this book. I came to it through a citation in Ellen Carillo's work on integrating reading and was hoping for something concrete on "what to do / how to teach." And yes, some of that in this. Some of it great stuff, Fleckenstein's discussions of her daughters and her students are great, but I could never escape the sheer unreadable nature of it. It seems stylistically at odds with itself to me and reads far too much like an underedited PhD dissertation.
