I Give You Authority Book

A fantastic book that describes the authority the believer has as a result of their relationship with God. Charles details how this authority can be used within the home, employment, churches, within ministry settings and in the community.

I think this book provides foundational understanding for the believer's effective life and ministry in the world.

Some of the more interesting aspects of the book are that God has ordained authority structures on earth; and that it is perfectly reasonable that such structures, relationships and rules exist in the spiritual realm. Another aspect is that all believers are engaged in a spiritual battle but if one is ignorant of this then they are effectively in a field hospital rather than battling on the front. As such, they are diverting resources away from the battle. It is our responsibility to be informed, engaged and fighting rather than ignorant, wounded and ineffective.
