Political and economic forms of modernity Book

I really liked this book. The characters were likable a lot. The author also uses really great metaphores.
THe main plot line is- A computer game designer named Meg goes on a vacation in Yellowstone park with her boyfriend(soon to be ex). They get into a fight and he leaves her. She ends getting help by a ranger named Zach who is looking for his llama. his wife recently died and he's left to take care of his son. Anyway one thing leads to anouther and she ends up staying at his house because she quit her job (her boss is her boyfriend.)
There is a mystery in the book that really had me reading to find out the answer. Even though the hero was grieving for his wife it didn't seem like he just wouldn't let go. That was my biggest concern that the whole book he'd be like 'i love my wife and i can't move on.'
but he actually appreciates Meg, and connects with her.
this author has only written two books, and that was a little sad because i would've enjoyed to see more of her.r
