Health Insurance Answer Book: 2000 Cumulative Supplement Book

In this supplement to the fifth edition (2000) of the Health Insurance Answer Book (now that the sixth, 2001 edition is available) employee benefits consultant Garner discusses recent health insurance regulations using a question and answer format. Questions such as "what are the notice requirements under the Women's Health Act?" and "what can employers and health plans do to control pharmacy costs?" are answered in entries ranging in length from a short paragraph to a couple of pages. A sampling of topics includes medical savings accounts, evaluating HMOs, Medicare cost containment, nondiscrimination rules, Form 5500, Worker's Compensation, and drug testing. The volume does not contain bibliographical references.
