The Peasant War in Germany Book

One cannot really appreciate how closely most histories follow the propagandistic function of the television show "Cops" until one reads a few leftist histories. I must note my personal experience here: I have read numerous accounts of the Peasant War in histories provided by mainstream institutions; none of them chose to record the fact that the revolutionary peasants won numerous battles, took many towns, and were politically very popular even in relation to the reformist Lutherans (not to mention that nobody ever cites Luther calling for violent revolution as does the author here). While Engels could've written the account a little better, though I understand his source materials were limited for such a subject (he only had one!), this still makes for a fascinating history (which it can't help but be, revolutions being miraculous and all), as well as a glaring indication of how much history is hidden from working people.
