Our bookshelves are full of books about becoming a mom--what to expect, what you wouldn't expect, etc. There's not much out there about becoming a dad.
I'm glad Dr. Sears is working to fill this gap. I'm especially glad that there's an attachment parenting perspective on becoming a dad.
My favorite part of this book was the chapter on how to PLAY with the baby at different stages of development. Simple info about sight, hand-eye coordination, and attention span have revolutionized the ways I'll interact with this little one when it arrives in a month.
Dads, this is definitely worth a read!
