My last duchess Book

It was a great shame when governmental directive stopped the BBC from producing its language courses - because they were all so good, supported as they were by a myriad of late-night TV episodes, radio shows, tapes and records: Buongiorno Italia!, Espana Viva, The French Experience, Deutsch Plus - and this A Vous La France.

Without being able to listen to the tapes anymore it loses something (and tapes were always a clumsy format for language learning - as it was so difficult to move forwards and backwards.

Between this and Duolingo I seem to be making a little headway.

Still don't understand the difference between the Perfect and the Imperfect Tenses though.
