Analyzing Grammar
One of the few books in my reading list that actually talks about semantic cases. It is hell trying to get anyone on semantic case - there is only one linguistic book written specifically about semantic case (dative, genitive, locative, ablative, allative, etc...) and this one of the few textbooks to talk about it too.
Kroeger is a great syntax undergraduate textbook and a go-to when in a squeeze about wanting to understand basic concepts in syntax (which can get confusing, trust me...).
