Condensed pyrazines Book

The story is engaging enough to sustain the book, but the protagonist is absolutely insufferable. If you're interested in reading a novel in which the main character is smarter, sexier, and funnier than everyone else and goes through the story without humility or the need to learn anything new about himself than this is the book for you. It reeks of being a thinly-veiled autobiography in which the author has walked away from the experiences believing that he did everything he could despite being consistently wronged by everyone around him. At least in "The Devil Wears Prada" she had some perspective on who she became and tried to change it. This guy walks into and out of the story smelling like a dozen fresh roses.
