Say Cheese And Die..Again! (Goosebumps Series) Book

Ugh, I have NO tolerance for this kind of stupidity!

First, Greg decides to make the story of what happened with the evil camera in Book 1 his non-fiction English report. MORON.

Then, he's shocked when the teacher doesn't believe him and gives him an F. MORON.

Then he decides to get the camera, bring it to school, and prove to his teacher that he was telling the truth. REALLY? REALLY?!?!!? You are going to bring a lethal weapon that could wreck untold damage and end lives to school to prove a fucking point!? MORON.

He finds the camera and accidentally takes a picture of a a kid named Jon, and as a result, Jon ends up with a carpenter nail through his foot, screaming in pain. Instead of destroying the camera right then, he still plans on bringing it to school. MORON.

Then Shari begs him not to take the camera to school because it is evil. He ignores her and they tussle over the camera, and Shari's picture is taken. MORON

The picture is a negative, and they decide the camera is broken and therefore harmless now. MORONS.

Shari deliberately takes a picture of Greg with the "broken" camera. MORON.

At this point I am gnashing my teeth in anger and frustration at these kids' stupidity. How much more of this can I take?!

Well, I won't give away any more of the plot, but let me assure you it is full of complete dumbasses doing the most MORONIC things possible, with most of the continuity from the last book COMPLETELY erased.

For instance, at the end of Book 1, Donny and Brian - the bullies - found the camera in the Coffman house. NO mention is made in this book about that. As if it had never happened. Come on, Stine.

And not to mention, that when the camera produces pictures of horrible things, the kids moan and quake for tons of chapters. Then, suddenly, on page 102, Greg gets the bright idea to tear up the pictures. THIS WOULD WORK. In the last book, he tears up the pictures which Shari was missing from and she reappeared again after being lost for weeks. BUT Stine makes him decide not to do this. DO YOU NOT REMEMBER ANYTHING FROM BOOK 1? Argh, I wanted to tear my hair out! So annoying!

I can't even with this shit. If Stine had AT LEAST TRIED to keep continuity from Book 1, this would have been fine. But making all the same kids star in the book, AND making time pass - but arbitrarily deciding that everyone has amnesia about key events from the last book - is SO STUPID.

Avoid at all costs.
