Sword of the Highlands Book

WOW! Okay, so the first book in the series was okay, nothing spectacular but acceptable. This second book I had to delete after having read only 27%. I read a book a day and have since I was 4 years old. I love reading and have read daily even when it wasn't considered cool to read when in high school. I've been reading daily for 36 years and for the first time in my life I have had the fun of reading sucked right out of me. I thought that maybe it was just this second book that was terrible and decided to give the third, "Warrior of the Highlands" a try. Nope, after a full week of trying to read it I am 39% in and I am completely and totally uninterested. I love reading and this author has completely sucked my enjoyment of reading right out of me. I have absolutely zero interest in opening my books. It takes a special kind of something to do that to me because I usually even enjoy the mediocre books. I have never gone entire days without reading let alone nearly a full week. I can say without a doubt that I will never, ever read another Veronica Wolff book again. I'm going to have to switch genres for a while to bring my love back because I refuse to let a single author steal that from me.
