Merlyn's Magic Book

This book was first published in the late 80’s and there are a few parts that I found a bit out-dated, though I must say that some of the sex scenes and there are quite a few, must have been pretty hot for that time.

Carole Mortimer’s writing is easy to read and the story line is quite interesting. Actress meets reclusive hero, who is unable to forget his dead wife. Filled with many well-mannered and some not so nice English characters, set in the gorgeous English countryside – the Lake District – mist, lakes, imposing homes – this story has it all!!!!

Lots of twists and an incredible discovery at the end that I never expected.
This is not one of my favorite books by this author but I did enjoy reading it.
