Sugar Sugar Rune
Fifth volume out of eight: 2.5 stars
I think the plot is just getting messy. I loved the development of Choco and Pierre's relationship even though it was too convenient for me. I did not understand what was happening in the second part of the volume. The pacing definitely was over the place and resolutions to some conflicts came too easily. And honestly, I'm starting to think Chocolat is as dumb as Vanilla.
Pros: No Vanilla drama. Genderbend Pierre.
Cons: The art style is beyond understandable. I get nothing of what is drawn. This is really stopping me from enjoying the story.
