Unique Features: Using colorful illustrations and simple phrases in both English and Spanish, this bilingual text introduces young readers to objects in and around a typical home.

Recommended: I would recommend "My House (A Book in Two Language)/ Mi Casa (Un Libro en Dos Lenguas)" because this book invites readers to learn basic words in both Spanish and English. In addition, this "My House - Mi Casa" makes learning a new language fun and is the perfect way to introduce reading to children who speak either Spanish or English at home.
Personal Reaction: Reading "My House (A Book in Two Language)/ Mi Casa (Un Libro en Dos Lenguas)" was a fun experience. Although, I speak Spanish some of the translations I thought were either unusual or I did not recognized such as - cupboard / las alacenas & light switch / el interruptor. As a whole, students will not only be able to extend their vocabulary in two languages, but also increase their recognition.
Satisfying Concluding Statement: Learn basic words in Spanish and English.
