It's good reading for the already instrument rated as well as for those working on their rating. The reader with the rating will appreciate and understand the crystallized wisdom Taylor packs into each rather short section, while the reader working on the rating can use it as a good preview of what flying on instruments is like in the real world, rather than the artificial checkride world.
