The Mufti of Jerusalem
A very interesting thesis that Al-Husayni has been mus-represented by both Zionist and Arab writers. There is a lot of truth in this. There are some recent books that deal with some of the important controversies and I am not sure that Mattar's positions always hold up. In addition, Mattar was an official at the Institute for Palestine Studies and his bias shows at times.
Worth reading but not a definitive biogoraphy
