Europe after American Withdrawal: Economic and Military Issues Book

This book clarifies the debate about alliance burden sharing and the U.S. commitment to Europe by exploring the political, economic, and military implications of a hypothetical American withdrawal. The contributors first examine the economic costs and benefits of U.S. installations in Europe, as perceived in the U.S. as well as in the host nations.
