Experimental chemistry Book

This is a laboratory manual designed to instruct beginning students in the techniques and facts of chemistry. The book consists of four basic parts: brief descriptions of recommended safe procedures for carrying out the common standard manipulations required in the chemistry lab; individual experiments for collecting data and analyzing results so as to illustrate in a clearly defined way important principles of chemistry; analytical schemes for the detection and proof of the presence of various common chemical elements; and 'Special Projects',10 experiments of a more advanced type that can be assigned as enrichment or replacements for other experiments. The sixth edition includes new problems and experiments,and SI units are used throughout.
