Prestressed Concrete: Analysis and Design Book

This text was specifically designed for use in courses on prestressed concrete design and advanced reinforced concrete design as studied by civil and structural engineering students. It presents the fundamental concepts of analysis and design and emphasizes applications to typical design problems. Logical design flow charts,in which design procedures are summarized and all design equations and code limitations are given,are included. The text examines subjects neglected in other texts,among them are applications of prestressed concrete,partial prestressing in design and tensile members. There are worked examples,exercise problems (with selected answers in the appendix),abundant photographs,and chapter references. An Instructor's Manual is available.
