Ensuite Book

A single-volume intermediate program,Ensuite places readings,both literary and contemporary authentic,at the core of each chapter. The readings serve as the basis for each chapter's vocabulary development,grammar,and many of the communicative activities. The real-life materials are interesting to students and effective for building language skills. Pair and group activities,integrated with the grammar sections,encourage meaningful communication. Every unit and chapter is established around a set of proficiency functions (asking questions,narrating,describing,etc. ) that are spiraled throughout the text,giving additional practice to the more frequent functions. The functions are sequenced according to the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines.
