Gone to the Crazies: A Memoir Book

There were several things I liked about this book, mainly, the fact that the author attended one of those terrible cult schools/rehabs (Cascade) that I read about in _Comeback_. It's also a quick and interesting read. She comes from a family with a ton on money, which leads to my main problem with the book. After she leaves the crazy cult-like Cascade school, she stays sober for a bit, but ends up being a ketamine and ecstasy addict. She has a small apartment in NYC, some junkie roommates, and a sort of job that doesn't last. Yet she still has non-stop money for drugs. She never mentions prostitution as a means to support her habit, nor does she say if (more likely) her parents just dished out cash. I love an honest memoir, but one of my huge gripes is when rich people write gritty, open stories about everyone in their lives, except their trust funds/sugar daddies/and or monthly checks from Mom and Pop. See also: my issues with _Her Last Death_, an awesome memoir, but also left out a lot of the monetary details.
