This book contains a collection of information about Rosa Parks, including high quality photos and many informative details about her life. I would say this book is ideal for use in 2nd-3rd grade, learning to work with text features, or in a social studies unit studying leaders of the Civil Rights movement. The large print is helpful for younger readers, but the way the information is presented, it could also be helpful to use with slightly older readers (around 4th grade) with struggling readers that still need to master various informational text concepts, or practicing gathering information.
