101 Lies Men Tell Women and Why Women Believe Them Book

I'm not quite sure what I was expecting with this book, but it wasn't this. Perhaps I was hoping for a little more humor. Or, if not humor, a stronger art element.

Imagine the classic "Dogs Playing Poster" image. Not put cats into the picture. Now, make it medieval-themed. That's this book.

At first glance, it's cute. For those of us who are cat people, there's a certain amount of "Ahh," element. But as we look a little more we realize that the art only suggests a medieval style (with cats inserted) rather than truly looking like the proper era. The cats depicted also lack any emotion or even implied emotion in the paintings (I know, I know...they're CATS ... but when painted in such anthropomorphic manner, they should be conveying a sense of something.

Again ... it will get an, "Ahh, that's cute," response from some, but this won't delve beyond that. Is it worth it? Not in my book, but perhaps for some.
